Canada to Support

Our Philosophy is pretty simple actually....

There is enough money, resources and infrastructure available that there is no reason why any Canadian should have to struggle with food insecurity,
let alone 10 million every day.

Let that number sink in for a minute. In a country of 40 million people, we have 1 out of every 4 Canadians struggling to get good food every day.

We aim to reduce this number drastically through our Reckless Cares Initiative. Together, not only can we change things for the better,
WE HAVE TO BE THE CHANGE!

No one deserves to be hungry.

Food insecurity, affects millions of people across Canada. In a world of abundance, it's unconscionable that anyone should go hungry. But it doesn't have to be that way. By taking collective action, we can create a nation where nobody goes to bed hungry.

Nutritious meals are a fundamental necessity.

Nutritious meals are not just a luxury; they are a fundamental necessity for a functioning society. When individuals have access to balanced diets, they are better equipped to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. By investing in programs that consistently provide well balanced meals to people who cannot access it, we are taking a big leap towards building more equitable, healthy and sustainable Canada.

There is no shame in hunger.

The stigma surrounding hunger is a cruel and pervasive issue. It perpetuates the harmful myth that poverty and food insecurity are personal failings, rather than systemic problems. The truth is, hunger is a complex issue with multifaceted causes, including economic inequality, political instability, and climate change.

No one should feel ashamed for needing help to put food on the table. Hunger is a symptom of a broken system, not a character flaw. It's important to approach this issue with empathy and understanding, rather than judgment and blame.
